Long-time FFXI player looking for advice Posted: 21 Feb 2020 10:40 PM PST I am looking for an immersive MMO similar to oldschool FFXI with a big emphasis on teamwork. I want to play a support-type class that can control fights with CC/buffs/debuffs and dont care about doing damage myself. I know absolutely nothing about everquest, other than FFXI was based on it, and it is a grind. I come from a lot of other oldschool RPGs like PSO, Diablo 2, Ragnarok, etc. I have tried to get into theme park MMO's multiple times, but lose interest from the homogenization and vertical progression. I am looking for a game that scratches that itch of a dangerous world that you explore in the way you want.
