What's the backstory behind Agnarr and the Bastion Of Thunder? Posted: 16 Jan 2021 12:00 PM PST Is he like an evil twin of Karana? He looks just like him, and has taken over his plane in the Planes Of Power expansion. Does it explain anywhere where he came from and the like? [link] [comments]
Multi Boxing question regarding multiple accounts. Posted: 16 Jan 2021 06:30 PM PST Thank you all in advance for your help! Hopefully I ask the following questions in a manner people can understand here,, I'm hoping to 6 box on either Test or FV first, and if I enjoy it move over to a TLP like Rizlona. My question is in regards to multiple accounts: Is my DayBreak Games account name the same as EverQuest in-game account name? (I.e. DBG Account Name / DBG Password is the same as EverQuest Account Name / EQPassword) If yes, do I need at least 6 DayBreak Games accounts, each making 1 EverQuest in-game account per DBG account? (I.e. DBG1, DBG2, DBG3, DBG4, DBG5, DBG6 is EQ1, EQ2, EQ3, EQ4, EQ5, EQ6) If no, do I only need one DayBreak Games account that all 6 Everquest in-game accounts can be linked to? (I.e. DBG1 which links EQ1, EQ2, EQ3, EQ4, EQ5, EQ6) If I need 6 uniquely named DBG accounts, do they all require their own email address, or can I use just one email for all of them? Hopefully this makes sense, and thank you all again in advance for all your help! [link] [comments]
Looking for Duo help (I'm a newb) Posted: 16 Jan 2021 08:25 AM PST I know this question has been asked numerous times, but I'm not necessarily looking for the best combo. I'm playing a Necro (i played a necro at launch, but only got it to level 27 and haven't played since.) From what I've read, Shaman, Druid, and possibly bard are good duo partners. I'm looking for which one of those would the easiest to duo with, without software. I have triple monitors, with the possibility of extending that to 5, so screen space is not an issue. Basically, I want something I can use to buff my Necro/pets/Merc up with, then largely ignore it, till rebuff time. I don't mind having to cast stuff on occasion with the other character, I just don't want to constantly be having to switch back and forth. Is there a class that would work for this type of play style? I also wouldn't mind something that would be viable on its own, should I want to swap between the two and focus on only one character. I'll largely be soloing, and hoping to avoid having to group for levels, but will when i have to. I'm playing on Cazic Thule. I considered just leveling up the Necro, but since I'm only level 10 with it, i figured if I do want to dual box at some point, its probably best to start now. [link] [comments]
Best 3 box with Bard? (and maybe Necro) Posted: 16 Jan 2021 02:21 PM PST Haven't played in quite some time, but I have a level 98 Bard (main) and 97 Necro, as well as a level 38 (free account atm) Shaman all on separate accounts. Currently I do my (2box) tanking with the Bard + 2 Healer Mercs, which works reasonably well on most same level/slightly higher level content... Named are a bit difficult, but 'usually' doable with enough AAs/avoidance abilities running. Plus I'll probably try to get the Bard raid geared eventually, which will help. Now the primary question is.. will this group be enough as it is for current higher level content with all access, once the Shaman is around the same level? Will the Bard be able to continue to Tank having essentially 3 merc healers + Shaman heals/slow/utility? Cus it doesn't seem like the T5 Merc Tank cuts it at all.. dies very easily in most cases already. Otherwise, if I were to ever replace the Necro or Shaman (Druid?) with anything - what would the best (and most fun) options be? I like the idea of maybe an SK in place of Necro to tank stuff but I hear they need a lot of AA to be useful. List your own picks for Bard 3box, with good synergies, or what you think would work best. Thanks! [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Jan 2021 08:11 AM PST I returned to EQ a few months ago and quickly leveled from 80 to 105, but I became discouraged after seeing how few groups there were at those levels. I felt like I was forced to box in order to play consistently. I found that I still really enjoy the game and I do think things would get better at max level. I'd even consider a server transfer for a few of my characters if I could find a good guild to fit my play style and play times. Do guilds often recruit from other severs? I'd be interested in raiding two nights a week at 7pm PST. I've looked around a bit and haven't had much luck finding guilds raiding so late. Anyone have any suggestions? [link] [comments]
Looking for a fun EQ Private Server? Check this out! Posted: 16 Jan 2021 12:24 PM PST Having played most of the progression servers and P99, this server has really hooked me! Come check it out! Below iformation is from the Clumsy's World: Resurgence website: https://www.clumsysworld.com/ Discord: https://discord.com/invite/3wkzwwc -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Server Description: Clumsy's World: Resurgence (CWR) is a Semi-Custom, Legit, PvE Server. The CWR staff is dedicated to recreating a fun, challenging, and social environment for its players. We have been around the EQEmu community since 2006, hosting two other iterations of CW and assisting within the community itself. CWR is not a classic server. Our vision is to take the world and lore as it exists in Velious (and earlier) and build upon it with our own twists and creations. Lore: What the players know, as of Velious, is that Kerafyrm was the illegal child of two opposing elemental dragons, creating a powerful prismatic dragon. Kerafyrm rose quickly to great strengths, becoming an exceptional general, but developed an insatiable hatred and blood-lust. Because of this he was seen as a threat by the Council of Elders and Veeshan sentenced him to death. An acquaintance of Kerafyrm's decided instead to lock him away in a prison, known as Sleeper's Tomb. During his rise to power Kerafyrm acquired many followers; they were known as Ancients. Who are they, what were their motivations, and what would become of them if the Sleeper were ever set free? Clumsy's World: Resurgence dives straight into the world you remember and expands on the stories of the Ancients and follows the Resurgence of Kerafyrm. Come join us as we embark on this journey. Progression Paths:
Note: CWR is not a classic-progression server. The players are contained to the Classic-Velious world but will explore beyond that through the progress of our story delivery. What Can You Expect?
All content and items are finely tuned and adhere to a strict progression policy. [link] [comments]
