| Shout out to the people suspended falsely Posted: 13 Nov 2019 06:05 PM PST Hey bros, since I'm one of the people suspended for simply having a dormant VM program in the background on the PC, I got nothing better to do than talk about how you guys who want to invest thousands of hours and dollars on your characters should know that this company can and will suspend / ban people based on an assumption and then not admit fault afterward. Yep, that's Daybreak Games. Trolls will troll, "nahh because you were suspended that's all the proof WE need, you really did it you dirty cheater, blah blah blah!!!!" Cool, how edgy of you. Heard it all on the Daybreak forums where in a (now locked) thread dozens of other people who had VMs they use for their jobs, not to play EQ, are trying to get the point to Daybreak that they have just fucked over a ton of paying customers based on an assumption. This strikes me as peculiar business practice. Anyone thinking of getting involved in any game with Daybreak, be aware this is the kind of thing this company does. And they will not admit fault and reverse their bans, let alone compensate the people they have falsely accused. Most of us would just settle on the suspensions being undone and get on with the game. Nowhere in the TOS does it mention not having a program sitting dormant on your PC. It only mentions you can't use a VM to play the game. Hats off to the good folk at Daybreak Games.
