    Advice for an adult struggling to find ways to enjoy this game

    Backstory: Started playing EQ in 1999, quit for the most part around GoD. Returned to EQ through p99, raided high end p99 and that killed p99 for me. Recently had a good run on Mangler where I ended up 5 boxing and it was a ton of fun. Had to quit due to real life obligations and the time required to raid in EQ.

    The Dilemma: I find myself having a hard time getting into other games. I have limited free time right now with my work, school and family. I really do enjoy EQ but wondering if there are any others out there in similar situations who have found some success in being able to enjoy EQ but with limited play windows. I've thought about Agnarr since it might be a good fit with limited play times but I've heard it's completely dead as well. Open to emulators or live, but live scares me a bit since it seems like a totally new game there.

    SK + 3X Necro or 3X Mage? With 2 healer mercs. Sometimes Druid will join.

    My gf finally got into the game. I dual box and she plans on doing it as well. This is on live, on FV.

    We will not be using any software, and will be using alt tab.

    What is easier and more effective to box for two people?

    SK will be tanking and I will be on him. Second Necro or Mage on Alt Tab. My GF will be maining a Necro/Mage and a second will be on Alt Tab.

    From time to time, we will be grouping with a Druid friend of ours. At that point we will still be keeping a healer Merc.

    What would be the better group to do the most content? Mages or Necros, and why?

    I have a high level Mage now and the lack of FD is really sucking... But the damage is just so good.

    Game keeps timing out after log in.

    Anyone else just not able to log in? Every time I try I get an error time out message. One time I was able to access the server list before I got disconnected.

    Box team advice (Mangler)

    Hi all, looking for some advice for a 4th box. Currently, I am running Monk (main character, some elementals/high tier planes gear), sham (ornate geared), and SK (ornate geared). I currently have a bard as my 4th box for haste/regen song/etc, but recently have been thinking about changing it to a cleric since sham heals are not that great and sometimes trying to slow/heal on harder mobs is an issue. Any thoughts on whether to keep the bard or swap to a cleric is greatly appreciated!
