Decide on a Shaman for upcoming TLP

    Posted: 17 Mar 2020 03:41 PM PDT

    Hello Everyone,

Since Daybreak announced 2 new TLP coming, I thought I would try my hand at a Shaman. I'm going to roll an Ogre. I am having a hard time finding Classic era Ogre Shaman quests online. Any suggestions or links would be greatly appreciated.

New heroic 3 box new server

    Posted: 17 Mar 2020 08:42 PM PDT

I decided to use my heroic toons on a more populated server than I've been on since 2001. I'm starting on Bristlebane now.

Trying War/Bst/Druid, I think this would be a strong group. I have a 4th account I can use...do I need to add and enchanter or nard to my line up?

Learning curve as I've never played a tank before. 😨 My bst on my original server is in the mid 70s & Druid main was 90.

    Can I proceed past 85-90?

    Posted: 17 Mar 2020 07:37 PM PDT

I play on FV and have 5 accounts (4 silver 1 free). My characters are 89 Bard (1200 AA, maxed), 86 Druid (1200 AA, maxed), 82 Warrior (1200 AA, maxed), 78 Shaman (250 AA, maxed), 75 Monk (132 AA, not maxed; max is 1000). I box these characters with an apprentice T5 healer on the bard account and I'm currently working on getting the warrior, shaman, druid, and monk caught up to the bard in level, and maxing the monk's AAs to 1000. Goal is to max the AA's and have all my characters level 90, and then go from there. At the moment my druid and bard have tier 2 Recondite armor with equivalent pieces (80-85) in other slots. Warrior has mostly abstruse but I can get him to recondite level. Same with the shaman and monk once they are 80+.

I don't have any issues doing things like the 75 or 80 daily quests, or killing stuff in that range. Since I'm on FV I can eventually purchase upgraded gear, however my concern is I'm going to hit a brick wall (or I've already hit it and just don't know it yet since I'm still doing level 75-80 content) once I start trying to do level 85+ content. A wall that gear won't be able to overcome (after all, what would be the point of putting in so many AAs if they weren't needed to progress)

    So my questions:

    1. Is it possible to continue past 85+ content with 1000-1200 aa characters boxing like this? If so, at what level should I expect to hit a wall that only more AA's will break?
    2. Would it be better to forgo boxing and focus on one of the characters (preferably either the bard or the druid) in a solo capacity? Maybe even sub for a month to auto-aa and go from there?

I really want to continue playing the game but it just feels like I'm hitting a wall and only subscribing and doing auto-aa on all my characters will solve the problem. Subbing one account is fine, but since this is sort of a diversion for me when I'm bored I can't justify subbing 5 accounts.

    Thanks!

Its been so long since I last played - and now that I'm on lockdown I need to get back into adventuring :D Thing is I don't have friends that play everquest and would like to not play alone.

    Is there anyone interested?

    Thanks y'all :D

Best class for a player starting out fresh

    Posted: 16 Mar 2020 10:51 PM PDT

I am looking to play on a live server, but looking for a class that can farm plat and gear and is somewhat independent.

I also am not sure would I be better playing on Firiona Vie or Bristlebane or even another server?
