Posted: 16 May 2021 05:03 PM PDT Can anyone recommend any EQ related podcasts, old or new? I'd like something to listen to when I can't play or it's not feasible to watch YouTube, something preferably new but age doesn't really matter when the game is twenty plus years old. Thanks! Looking to play Everquest for the first time on Mischief ! but should I play Bard? Posted: 16 May 2021 05:26 PM PDT Hi so I've logged into EQ a couple of times to set up my UI . Watched a bunch of guides on hotkey binding ( Loc macro's , opening all bags ect ect ) what I'd like to know is if it is to ambitious to make first character a Bard, i feel like all the twisting stuff is pretty straight forward and the instruments changes though tedious will become natural over time. is the bard class to complicated for brand new player ? Posted: 16 May 2021 05:39 PM PDT I'm considering playing a cleric for the first time on Mischief. I have only ever played healer as a shaman. I have years of experience as a rogue on TZ and ranger on Test. What can I expect as a cleric? Are they truly incapable of soloing? Are they... fun? Apart from CH and some spot heals, do they provide any other utility to the group? How do they fare in each era? Is the cleric population bloated on TLPs and for how long? [link] [comments] |
115 Warrior Macros / HK's for Disc & AA's Posted: 16 May 2021 12:00 PM PDT Hello, Just turned 115 and currently my screen looks like hundreds of hot keys and everything, so I am looking to see if someone can help me to create macros/hk's for the proper rotations for all the different auras, taunts, offensives, defense style things to shrink this down some. Question/discussion: druid vs necro charm (new server) Posted: 16 May 2021 07:01 AM PDT Hello everyone, Debating between a necro or druid for the new server. Since I'm a dad now (yay!) my playtime will be short 1-2 hour bursts at night(boo!), so I'm thinking I'll be mostly soloing, thus the necro or druid. I know both classes are great with kiting, but I'm looking at charming: can anyone who has played through classic - pop weigh in? On paper, it sounds like the druid would be better with charming in Kunark and beyond due to long snares and MR debuff, but am not sure. I feel like I remember seeing more zones with undead vs animals for charming, and necro has FD incase it really hits the fan. Druids also get a smaller CH IIRC, so I guess that would also be beneficial towards them. So, opinions from those with more experience than me? Also, I like talking EQ. None of my friends played back in the day, and none of them play now ¯_(ツ)_/¯ [link] [comments] |
Posted: 16 May 2021 07:59 AM PDT druid / bard / four necros. After playing on two or three TLP's in the past, I ran into a lot of asses, especially while maining a pally. People would roll up on my camp and be like "Day break doesn't recognize camps. I'm just gonna sit here and kill stuff". I figure, four necs, bard, and druid, would put an end to that crap. I can also explore all the hidden gems and corners of EQ that I've never really seen. So the big ask / debate / mental torture. If you had six boxes, what would be a better setup with the goal being, fast exp (especially AA down the road), dungeons, and getting ass hats to "F off", and perhaps even getting some lower teir crap dead? Been thinkin about a "chanter/cleric/ ++++" thing going, but I "feel" like 4 necs and a bard would do better and be much easier to move around safely. Plus I can just lull a camp, send in four pets and dot each mob up to melt any camp of my choice. Anything better than the four nec/druid/bard idea? I'm drawing a blank there. Thanks for your feedback! -covaids [link] [comments] |
