Reasons for low level characters/players to pay for All Access Posted: 25 Jan 2021 10:39 AM PST Hey all! I'm working on an article on how to get started playing Everquest. One of the considerations when starting is whether to pay for All Access. It's a question we've seen a lot on Everquest forums, right? So far, I have the following four reasons: Reason 1: Grouping with Other Players The first reason you might want a membership is if you are a social gamer that wants to participate in groups (one for Everquest's key features), you might want to play on a Progression server, which is only available to All Access members. Reason 2: Trade The second reason you might want to get a membership is to use the in-game broker. Some players like to play the markets. Buy and sell items to gain wealth. At low level, you won't have much wealth, but it's still possible to get ahead by looking for good deals. Reason 3: Holiday Experience During some holidays, All Access members receive additional experience. If you are signing up during or near such a holiday, it might be worth it for you to get a boost of leveling experience. I think for most, this is not a worthwhile reason. However, if you are feeling festive and just don't want to miss out on what others are getting, you might feel inclined to get the membership. Reason 4: Support the Creators While Daybreak/Darkpaw Games is not a charity and is making a profit, supporting the game ensures that the passionate, devoted, and experienced developers of Everquest continue to maintain and develop Everquest. Do you agree with the reasons? Are there other reasons that I missed? [link] [comments] |
