Played a necro back in the day--mischief bard Posted: 18 Jul 2021 05:08 AM PDT I played as a necro back in the day from classic to Omens of War. Soloed mostly and became quite a good farmer of items. Doing all kinds of weird necro stuff. Necros were pretty shunned from groups /raids due to dots not stacking and debuff slots getting filled up on raid targets IMO. Now I want to group a lot more. I started a bard on mischief last night. Couple of questions. Any good TLP guides for barding for noobs out there on reddit? Are bards (not boxed melody bots) needed wanted in groups/raids? Is the mischief server over run with bards? My favorite thing was charm killing on my necro without an AA for agro wipe is charm killing do-able on a bard? Will I feel super weak compared to necro? Posted: 18 Jul 2021 12:16 PM PDT Mischief server, non boxed, my husband and I normally hunt overland zones but find it's just getting boring and slow now.. we've been in Skyfire the last couple levels but are looking for some more interesting camps maybe in dungeons but without a proper tank we'd probably need some room to root/rot ..fear etc.. though charming is an option too. Its an alt account to give to my main. this feels very satisfying lmao. Collecting silk for leveling tailoring. They have a 6 second respawn. I am pleased. Aha. Didnt blur anything out. Newfriend here. How can I connect to FV? Posted: 17 Jul 2021 10:33 PM PDT I recently became disillusioned with ESO, as it's basically single-player, Skyrim-type repetitive fetch quests with far-too-easy PvE over and over again for 800 hours, occasionally punctuated by PvP games that are either too violent to survive at anything but the highest levels or (more likely) which nobody is playing, to the point where I can skinny dip in front of enemy castes at certain parts of the day and not have to worry about anyone taking notice. Then I remembered EverQuest. I managed to connect to Project 1999 a while back, and it was a decent server, but, from what I understand, they're still in the second expansion and never plan to move past it. It'd be nice to find a good, stable, reliable, free progression server in the early stages (please do recommend one, if you're aware of such a thing), but, from what I understand from the extensive five minutes of Googling on the subject, FV is the gold standard if you want to play all the expansions right fucking now with no hassle. I can't find a tutorial on how to set up EQ (I assume Titanium is required) and connect. Could someone here please either direct me towards the FAQ/tutorial that I somehow missed or else spoonfeed me the answers? I know this is a dumb question, but I can't figure it out, and I appreciate any help you may provide.
