I love the idea of 2h staffs but will it create problems down the road as I level? Or should I go with 1HS like some old advice on the internet says? [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 28 Oct 2019 09:38 AM PDT This occurred to me after reading a post about another game currently in development. Original EQ and at least the first few expansions had dropped and crafted armor that had race restrictions based on the size of a race. You couldn't put a small leather tunic on an ogre, or a large one on a halfling. However.... weapons and shields generally (there may be specific items that had racial or early class selection options as a restriction) had no racial limitations. The items would magically scale to appropriately fit the size of the user. A troll shaman could hand over a shield to a halfling Druid and it instantly scaled to size. It really doesn't matter at all, but the "Ah Ha!" Moment was briefly entertaining :) [link] [comments] |

I am mainly interested in the group leveling experience that I remember loving so much. Is Mangler/Selo too far progressed to get that experience in the low levels? Would P99 have better group leveling content? Any advice on where I should start would be great! [link] [comments] |

What's it like playing at max level on live in general? I don't have any experience with EQ/EQ2 when it comes to high end stuff but like I said, fairly interested!
