FV Server - Item give-away part 2. Posted: 14 May 2020 08:04 AM PDT I have been doing A LOT of spring cleaning over the last 48 hours, and I managed to give away some stuff yesterday. (having 24 characters on the server means I accumulate a whole boat-load of stuff). As a result, I have now got a new set of things to give away. I want them to go to a good home, rather that just delete them. If you want anything(s) in particular and will use them (even if you need to grow into them 5-10 levels ahead), then please post your in-game name, class and level and I will try and get them to you. My only request is that once you have out-grown them, you try and pass them on to someone else who might make use of them. DING!!!! Posted: 14 May 2020 05:25 AM PDT I always love hearing the old EQ1 pack of sounds they went with in other media. I'm currently rewatching the original Mobile Suit Gundam series, and sure enough, DING! Episode 4, right around the 6:32 mark. I was pretty sure I heard it and then backed it up to experience gaining one more level :P Maybe the sound creator for EQ who chose the DING sound was a Gundam fan? Less than 1 FPS performance on modern system Posted: 14 May 2020 11:52 AM PDT I installed EQ to scratch a nostalgia itch, and I'm getting significantly less than 1 FPS regardless of what I do with CPU Affinities. Trying Pet Class's Posted: 14 May 2020 10:54 AM PDT So, I currently have a 50 Necro solo's good but I want to try some others. I HATE (with a passion HATE) melee, so that leaves out Beast lord. That leaves, if I am correct, Mage and Chanter (kinda ?) Of those, I am interested in trying out Mage right now. How well do Mages solo and later on (much later I suppose) grouping.
