| Firona Vie - New to EQ Looking for some Guidance I am an Iksar Necromancer Posted: 27 Sep 2020 04:16 PM PDT So I started playing EQ on the Firona Vie server about 3 days ago as an Iksar Necromancer. I had made it to level 30 going from the tutorial, to crushbone keep, and unrest. After that a high level player told me I needed to be higher level to find other players and he took me around and in like 1 hour got me to level 77. Now I have no clue where to level or the good spell combos to be using or anything, the wiki from P99 was the best information I could find. The Allahkhazam sight is very confusing to me. Does anyone play on Firona Vie that can show me the ropes? Are there any good up to date guides on leveling in the current update? I am very interested in catching up with people so I can really see what the game is like. [link] [comments] |
| New player looking for TLE guild/buddy! Posted: 27 Sep 2020 08:20 PM PDT Hi there! I'm making this post because I would love to get into an EQ TLE server! I'm not sure which server is "suggested" these days... So any pointers to that would be great! I've been interested in getting into one for a while now but it's rather daunting when I don't have much prior experience with EQ, so if I was able to find a nice mature guild to guide me, or someone to play with, that'd be great! I'm up for playing any role, but I generally thrive with DPS or Support roles. That being said, I definitely enjoy being a healer and a tank as well! A little bit about me; I'm 26 years old, from Norway (6 hours ahead of East Coast) and got lots of spare time (for now) so it's a perfect time for me to possibly get into EQ TLE. If you've got a nice mature and chill guild I could possibly join and get some pointers from, or if you wouldn't mind playing with me on a character, let me know!! Cheers! [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 27 Sep 2020 08:30 AM PDT Throughout my EQ career I've never been a fan of tradeskills, but feel like I should get them to 300. I got JC to 300, but I'm looking for a minimal effort guide i.e. can buy most of the ingredients, or relatively easy farming locations. Is there a resource with this in mind? | Why doesn't the game music work for me? Posted: 27 Sep 2020 05:08 PM PDT Zone music just starts & stops randomly, mostly it's just off. I'll occasionally get about 30-60 seconds of it, then it stops. Sound effects and the background howling wind sound work just fine. I've played on & off since mid 2000, on probably half a dozen or more unique computers, and IIRC it's always been that way. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills, like my account itself is somehow glitched. It can't possibly be that way for everyone, can it? They've released the official soundtrack on multiple platforms ffs. | Mangler Leveling/Money locations? Posted: 27 Sep 2020 08:15 AM PDT Hey I have a 63 beastlord, I mostly solo and was wondering if anyone had any leveling spots to recommend. I've been doing velks and veksar lately but things are greening out for me. (and veksar is terrible loot). Ideally I would like to find mid 50s mobs to kill that possibly dropped some coin/merchant fodder as my gear isn't the best. Any suggestions would be appreciated thanks! I've tried GE, but again the loot isnt the best. Dipped my toe into a few of the planes but the mobs hit too hard and have too much hp to seem worth it. I tried AC but the random trigged mob spawns mess me up. I was thinking of checking out dragon nec to possibly try to farm a phase spider chest but I dont know if thats a good idea or not. Since I'm a bst my CC isn't the best so somewhere with single pulls would be ideal. [link] [comments] |
