Working on a master list of named big bags Posted: 10 Dec 2020 12:40 PM PST I've searched around a bit and have not seen a list that covers the many bag options available. I am working on an EQ tips web site and would like to have a comprehensive list of dropped / quested bags. I am aware of the mail quest / deluxe toolboxes / various rare drop rate scuffed bags which will be noted. Obviously the classic bag of sewn evil eye etc. But I find people rarely bring up these named drops. I went over VOA and HOT. I am unaware of the other expansions which likely also have named bags worth mentioning. Please feel free to use my list in it's current form and comment with bag suggestions. Provide the name of the bag or the named which drops the bag at least so I can look it up and add it. Also post how you would like to be credited for providing the assistance. ---------------------------------------- Traveler's Strongbox MAGIC ITEM LORE ITEM NO TRADE HEIRLOOM WT: 0.8 Weight Reduction: 80% Capacity: 12 Size Capacity: GIANT Era: House Of Thule Zone: Feerrott, the Dream Named: Diggory the Traveler Known to spawn in the river (underwater area directly northeast of the lizardman temples - PH "a deceased traveler"). ---------------------------------------- Box of Lifting Winds MAGIC ITEM LORE ITEM NO TRADE HEIRLOOM WT: 0.8 Weight Reduction: 90% Capacity: 13 Size Capacity: LARGE Era: House Of Thule Zone: The Grounds Named: Helias PHs are the two "a disgruntled aquadervish" mobs in the farm/harvest area south of the tunnel. Posted: 10 Dec 2020 08:22 PM PST I play on Mangler which we are currently in DoN right now. I was noticing my Banestrike is currently 1 of 4 levels and its marked as a progression AA Ability. How do you move from Rank 1 to 2 and so on? [link] [comments]

Maximize Lesson of the Devoted for Mission exp Posted: 10 Dec 2020 10:44 AM PST Lesson of the devoted AA for those that don't know is the special AA that gives 100% bonus exp for 30 minutes. I just wanted to share my testing and results with others. If you have high level characters and are trying to plevel an alt character it is possible to maximize your LOTD AA for heroic adventures such as gribble. First of all, you cannot just accept the mission and camp out. (camping out however is the key to conserving the LOTD, although as an alternative you can bind at quest giver and gate somehow to POK or the Guild lobby to conserve the buff without logging.) In order for the low level character to get the exp from the mission they need to be present for each final task hit. So the simple solution is to accept mission, enter the mission, camp out on low level player. Do each task in order, except the final kill, quest item used etc. Log the low level player in for each hit. Upon completion of the final hail / task in mission the low level player will most likely be able to snag double the normal bonus of exp. Using this tactic I have been able to get 6 or more heroic missions completed with 100% bonus exp on the low level player. In most cases 20% exp vs 10% bonus exp - and any way you look at it the low level player is getting 2 missions worth of exp for every one mission. If you don't have as much time to play EQ you can also click lesson on your off times so it's already up, camp out, go to work or whatever and when you get back you will already be buffed with lesson but also be able to click the AA a second time, netting you perhaps 12 or more missions with LOTD double exp and several level dings. Note: If the low level player is not logged on during the task completions they will sacrifice some or all of the exp for the mission so it is critical that you pay attention to what you are doing! Anyways, I just wanted to share this info as it may help people out. [link] [comments]
What is a "good" amount of DPS? Posted: 10 Dec 2020 04:21 PM PST Pushing a 6 box to max level for the first time ever. Trying to understand what I should expect out of my group. Running Warrior, Cleric, Bard, Bst, Zerk, Zerk. Killing doesn't feel slow, but I remember my caster group taking things down a bit quicker. Maybe broken out by level? 80s, 90s, 100s, 110s. Thanks! Now a good time to start on Aradune (Dec 2020) Posted: 10 Dec 2020 09:24 AM PST I never realized that a new set of Progression servers had opened up. If I started today, will I be behind the curve, or would I be able to find groups, etc? [link] [comments]
Posted: 10 Dec 2020 07:50 AM PST Hi all! I'm currently playing a 3 box team on the alkabor project emulated server. Currently the server is in luclin with work being done on pop. My current goal - level up 2 mages, get them epics, bring along a cleric and take down nagafen and maybe vox if I can. I've never killed either of them and when googling if they can be killed with a box team all info I see is about live servers and using mercs. Wondering if anyone here has experience of info in regards to my goal. I know epic pets are strong and I figure with two of them and a cleric to CH, naggy at least should be cake. I'm more skeptical on taking down vox cause of the CH. The main question I have is, is voc slowable? Would it maybe be better to swap in a shaman for the cleric so I can slow? I would lose CH but shaman has some healing and I could ressumon pets if they die. Really any info at all would be helpful since I've never done the fights even as a raid. Thanks in advance!
