I wanted to play on Mischief server but wanted to play a class that can do achievements and get into guilds/groups easy. Was thinking shaman or cleric. But is track necessary to do the hunter achievements? Any advice would be great. [link] [comments] |

I don't play any more, but I played off and on for 11 years; from the Scars of Velious expansion in 2000 all the way to when Veil of Alaris came out in 2011. I did pop back in sometime later but life got way too out of hand for me to spend more than a few days looking for people. On Live (Veeshan server iirc?) I played a half-elf ranger named Griffin Cloud [I always used to spook people with /shout "A Gryphon hits you for 33 points of damage!" in the Karanas back when everyone had the same text box and shouting made your text combat-red and gryphons were super scary :) ] and a raiding Erudite magician during PoP/GoD/Omens named Eppy Aytes. I also ran a Dark Elf cleric but can't remember their name. On Test server I played a Drakkin magician named Trayis the Betrayer (a nod to Planescape Torment), a Drakkin warrior named Karesi Seru that I used to dress up as a sith because I glitched the warrior epic turn in somehow and got two red blades and also used to run around with the Fabled Sword of Truth, a human cleric named Jenniy (who used Jenniy's Two-Tone Cuirass with the 867-5309 numbers) and a Drakkin sk named Attma Weapon that I managed to solo Nagafen with at level 52 and used to hang out in skelly form in the Legacy of Ykesha zones all the time. I led the guildless open raids group which did Dragons of Norrath up to The Serpent's Spine progression runs and I also led a guild called Kadesh. My best friends there were Aeudayr, Trickor, and Frizky and I really treasure my memories with them. During my time I met and talked with many guides and devs, including the level designer who designed Dreadspire Keep (one of my all-time favorite zones) but I can't remember their handle or IRL name. I still remember our conversation about me getting into the gaming industry and I'd like to let them know that that eventually happened. [link] [comments] |
