If you haven't checked out any of Shawn's streams yet, I highly recommend it. They are highly informative and cover a lot of great info about working on EQ and the early days of the game, along with other games. He's also very interactive with the chat and good about answering questions. If you'd just like to catch up on the past 20+ developer interviews he's done, you can check out the recordings here: https://www.twitch.tv/averylovingrobot/videos?filter=highlights&sort=time [link] [comments] |
Posted: 31 Aug 2020 05:32 PM PDT Getting my wife into EQ, she's played a lot of WoW back in the day and really liked the Priest class. She's trying to decide what class she wants to play in EQ, said she likes healing and doesn't want to get into actual combat. She's afraid the Cleric is too heal-focused and she won't have an active role in fights as we play, so I pitched Shaman. However, I tend toward damage dealers and don't have any experience with either class and aren't familiar with the pros and cons of each. Can anyone help me out? We'll be focusing on the lower levels mostly [link] [comments] |
